Study English at Winchester University & visit the UK — The Adventure of a Lifetime!
Dear Students, Parents, and Teachers,
English in England is a programme founded in 1992. We were pioneers in our neighbourhood, offering students the unique opportunity to study English in England while exploring the UK.
Today, our programme combines English studies at Winchester University with exciting cultural and recreational activities across England. You can enjoy lessons and activities such as English through theatre and football. The programme is open to juniors up to the age of 18 and takes place at the university’s summer camp.
We are proud to be the first English school to take students to study at Winchester University from Argentina. Our goal is to help you develop your English while discovering the culture, history, and beauty of the UK.
We have prepared this guide for you—and for teachers who may wish to travel from Argentina with Buenos Aires English House—to help you prepare for your stay and answer any questions you might have about our programmes.

Buenos Aires English House is the official representative of this programme in Argentina.
Students are accommodated on the university campus in individual rooms with a private bathroom. They stay on the same campus as the group leader who travels with them from Argentina.
Accommodation is full board, which means students receive four meals a day plus a packed lunch (vianda) when they go on field trips.
Everything is included in the final price.
Students study in the mornings at the university. Upon arrival, they take a placement test to determine their level and are then assigned to a course appropriate for that level. At the end of the course, they receive a diploma that they can include on their CV.
Students enjoy a variety of activities, including theatre visits, football, and social events such as karaoke nights and discos.
In the afternoons, students participate in half-day field trips to places like Portsmouth and the New Forest. Full-day excursions are also organized to destinations such as London, Oxford, and Liverpool.
The best time to visit England is during the summer. The weather is ideal, and students from all over Europe gather at the camp since it’s their summer break. Therefore, the trip is planned to take place during Argentina’s winter holidays, usually the last two weeks of July.
